Help with yu-gi-oh dragon deck vs. buster blader?

About a week ago me and my husband were going through boxes and unpacking stuff, we came across his old deck along with like 1,000 other cards.. I thought it would be fun to figure out how to play and duel with him, so he taught me, and I made my own dragon deck. We play alot and usually without his buster blader in his deck because otherwise I lose pretty bad. Without the buster blader its pretty fair game and we both go back and forth, but I really wanna be able to find a way to beat him with what I have. So I’m basically looking for advice on how to beat him if/when he pulls out his buster blader?? I came up with a few combo like ideas, but its one of those things where I would have to have the perfect draw and it would only work toward the beginning when I only have one dragon in the graveyard. So any advice from people who had a dragon deck or lost to a dragon deck while using a buster blader would be awesome. If you really want a list of my deck let me know, ill add it Thanks

Ok if your husband picks up a buster blader there are many ways to destroy him with speel and traps, be sure to add in at least 1 of these cards:
Trap hole
bottumless trap hole
Lightning vortex
Sakuretsu armour (when he attacks)
Negate attack
Torrential tribute
Brain control (to take control of his monster)
